Iran’s Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei says all US military bases in the region should immediately close or be "attacked"

Iran’s new supreme leader warns of continued strikes on US bases
Trump is eager to continue the war against Iran for another three to four weeks before considering ending it.
The warning comes during the escalating conflict between Iran and the United States, alongside Iran’s declaration that the Strait of Hormuz should remain closed as pressure against its adversaries.

Iran just made it official: they’re coming for every single US base in the Middle East. It’s no longer about proxies or shadow wars; they’re telling the Americans to pack up or prepare for direct hits on their doorstep. This is as serious as it gets.
Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei just said ALL US bases in the region must close NOW — or face attacks.

This comes days after he took over following his father's death in the war airstrikes.
In his first public statement since being appointed Supreme Leader following the death of his father Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the initial U.S.-Israeli strikes on February 28, Mojtaba Khamenei declared that the Strait of Hormuz must remain closed as a “tool to pressure the enemy” (referring to the U.S., Israel, and their allies).

The “lever of blocking the Strait of Hormuz should still be used” to exert pressure.

All U.S. military bases in the region must close immediately, or they will be attacked.

Iran’s attacks on Gulf Arab neighbors (e.g., ongoing drone/missile strikes on ports like Salalah in Oman, energy infrastructure in UAE/Saudi) will continue.

This frames the effective blockade as leverage in the war, not a permanent shutdown, but with no conditions for reopening mentioned, defying international calls (e.g., from Trump, China, UNSC Resolution 2817) for free passage.
